Back-to-School Day from The THERAPY-IV

Another school year brings another year of wonderful adventures for kids and parents alike. We at the Therapy-IV would like to wish you a happy Back-to-School Day, and hope the rest of the year promises a renewed thirst for knowledge and many unforgettable, proud moments.

Today, approximately 347,000 students will start their day at a Miami-Dade public school, and roughly 50,000 will attend some 128 charter schools. The district will transport more than 60,000 students on 1,300 buses, so brace yourself for condensed highways and streets, and prepare to leave your home a little earlier than usual. Miami-Dade will provide 285,000 meals, with lunch today being a delicious Freschetta and baked ravioli with meat sauce, and broccoli, spinach, and romaine salad on the side. In Broward County, over 260,000 students will return to class, including roughly 33,000 who attend charter schools. About 80,000 students will travel on the 1,000 school buses. Broward expects to serve 150,000 lunches, which includes personal pan pizzas, cheeseburger sliders, and entrée salads.

The weather forecast for today is a bit dodgy, with clear weather in the morning, but scattered thunder storms expected to appear in the lunch and afternoon hours. A toasty high of 88 degrees is expected throughout the day.

We encourage all children and teens to work hard for their future and reach for the stars… but when the time comes to take a break, take our advice, parents, and hop aboard a charter with us to experience a fishing trip like no other. Our fishing charters are an adventurous and educational experience, perfect for spending quality time together while enjoying beautiful Miami weather out on the open sea. Contact me, Captain Stan, to experience Miami Deep Sea Fishing like no other by calling 305-945-1578. Our amazing charter services have earned us TripAdvisor’s Travelor’s Choice Award for 2013.
