Canes Versus Gators in Highly-Anticipated Game This Saturday!

Brace yourselves for the game Florida college football fans have been waiting for this season; the game pitting long-time rivals UM Hurricanes against UF ‘Gators this Saturday, September 7th! The infamous rivalry still burns brightly, making the event all the more anticipated and more exciting. In fact, the advanced parking passes for Saturday’s football game at Sun Life Stadium are all completely sold out. These include the parking passes on the main grounds, so fans without pre-paid parking will be directed to the stadium’s cash lots that line the outer roads into the stadium.

You might also find the majority of Canes fans wearing white to the game, as it was declared “White Out the Gators” Saturday! So, if you’re a fan of Florida’s best college football team, show your support by donning your best white t-shirt. UM’s student-run organization, Category 5, has ordered 6,000 white shirts to be distributed to UM students today at a pep rally. The t-shirts feature an Al Golden tie and a pair of Sebastian the Ibis sunglasses.

Tomorrow’s game marks the 55th time in series history that Miami and Florida will meet, with kickoff set for noon eastern time on ESPN. It’s the first series meeting since 2008 and the first UM home game in the series since 2003, so it’s bound to be an historic event. The Hurricane’s Honorary Captain for the game will be Brock Berlin, who led Miami to 28 unanswered points and a 38-33 come-from-behind victory over Florida in 2003.

With all the excitement and intensity of this Saturday’s game, you’re bound to be exhausted by the end of it. Plan a relaxing Miami Deep Sea Fishing trip out to sea with The THERAPY-IV this Sunday, or any day of the week. The THERAPY-IV is Miami’s best fishing charter with over 40 years experience in local waters. Call me, Captain Stan, at 305-945-1578 with any questions.
