Check Out Our YouTube Videos!
At The THERAPY-IV, we have long claimed to be the best Miami Deep Sea Fishing charter you could ever experience. We are incredibly confident in the services we offer because we have over 40 years experience fishing these waters, along with videos of some of the best catches you will ever see in Miami and Biscayne Bay. If you want to witness what we’ve got, check out our YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/TherapyIV. Once you watch these videos, you’ll see what keeps us feeling so good and loving what we do.
There are a LOT of clips to enjoy, and if you don’t feel like sifting through all of them, I’d like to highlight a few. First, there is a Hammerhead catch that took us over an hour to reel in; a worthy opponent- he wiggled around the deck for a bit. Next is a gorgeous Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) catch with lovely color that made a beautiful picture. Also, check out this fantastic Sailfish catch found just a few miles off the coast of Miami Beach. We recently hosted a Brown-footed Booby release that was truly inspiring. There’s much more to see on our YouTube page, so have a look and see what we’re all about!

Are You Growing Your Mustache for Movember?
By now you’ve probably heard of “Movember,” November’s Prostate Cancer Awareness campaign that challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean-shaven and proceed to grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for cancers that affect men. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.
The idea for Movember was sparked in 2003 over a few beers in Melbourne, Australia. The plan was to simultaneously bring the moustache back as a bit of a joke and do something for men’s health. No money was raised in 2003, but the guys behind the Mo realized the potential a moustache had in generating conversations about men’s health. Inspired by the women around them and all they had done for breast cancer, the Mo Bros set themselves on a course to create a global men’s health movement.
In 2004 the campaign evolved and focused on raising awareness and funds for the number one cancer affecting men – prostate cancer. 432 Mo Bros joined the movement that year, raising $55,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia - representing the single largest donation they had ever received.
The Movember moustache has continued to grow year after year, expanding to the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Spain, South Africa, the Netherlands and Finland. In 2009, global participation of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas climbed to 255,755, with over one million donors raising $42 Million US equivalent dollars for Movember’s global beneficiary partners.

Miami Hurricanes VS Virgina Tech Hokies- The Ultimate Rivalry!
Stay tuned this weekend for one of the season’s most-anticipated games of the year- the battle on Saturday between the ‘Canes and the Hokies. On the line: an inside track to the ACC Coastal Division title with little margin for error as the regular season winds down.
The American college football rivalry between the Miami Hurricanes football team of the University of Miami and Virginia Tech Hokies football team of Virginia Tech is a longstanding one that developed when the Hokies became a member of the Big East Conference for football in 1995. The Hurricanes and Hokies football teams first met on November 13, 1953 in Miami. Miami and Virginia Tech have met in two bowl games, the 1966 Liberty Bowl and the 1980 Peach Bowl. When the ACC expanded in 2004, both Miami and Virginia Tech became members of the ACC. Both teams continue to compete annually as part of the ACC's Coastal Division.
Taking a pre-emptive look at Saturday’s game, Virginia Tech has a 6-4 advantage over Miami since joining the ACC and is 12-6 since notching its first-ever series win back in 1995. The Hurricanes won last year's Thursday night showdown at Sun Life Stadium, 30-12, but prior to that had dropped 5-of-6 to the Hokies. Atlantic Coast Conference realignment—the addition of Syracuse and Pittsburgh—resulted in a second straight match-up between Miami and Virginia Tech in South Florida, an obvious break for the Hurricanes. Miami (7-1) enters this week's contest coming off a 41-14 loss to Florida State in Tallahassee. Virginia Tech (6-3) has dropped two straight, falling to Boston College and Duke back-to-back-weeks.
We at The THERAPY-IV love our sports and will be keeping you up-to-date on latest news and updates in College and Pro Football.. If you’re looking for a thrilling day out, consider us for your next Miami Deep Sea Fishing trip. Call me, Captain Stan, at 305-945-1578.

Heat Victory Over Toronto Raptors- LeBron Shining Star!
Yesterday, the Miami Heat came out victorious against the Toronto Raptors with a score of 104-95. They struggled the first half but managed a big second half with help from a monster individual performance by LeBron James.
While the Raptors outplayed the Heat for most of the first two quarters, LeBron kept his team within reach until everyone else on the team came alive. He finished the game with a season-high statline that would be ridiculous for any other player in the league: 35 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. In comparison, Dwyane Wade had 20 on Tuesday and Ray Allen scored 14 points for Miami, which lost at Philadelphia on Oct. 30 and was beaten 101-100 at Brooklyn on Nov. 1.
Miami topped 100 points for the fifth straight game, extending their team-record run to begin the season. With a putback dunk at 2:31 of the first quarter, James became the fifth player in NBA history to score 10 points or more in 500 consecutive games.
"When I see a stat like that, I'm like 'Wow,' because I know the history of the game, I know the guys who paved the way for myself and my teammates," James said. "To be in such a great class like that, it's an amazing feeling."
James has reached double figures in every game since being held to eight points at Milwaukee on Jan. 5, 2007. He scored 19 at New Jersey the following night.
"In practice, during shootaround and during games, he's a consistent player, period," Wade said. "I'm not surprised by that. Just more surprised at how he's been able to keep himself out there on the floor."
We at The Therapy-IV love our sports and will be keeping you up-to-date on latest news and updates in basketball. The Thrill of Marlin Fishing in Miami
To
seasoned anglers, there is nothing more thrilling than the tell-tale tug of a
“monster” on the fishing line. Monsters, as they are affectionately nick-named,
refer to big game fish such as Marlin. The Marlin, iconic inspiration for the
Miami Marlins and Hemingway’s animal protagonist in The Old Man and the Sea, is
especially considered by many fishermen to be the pinnacle of deep sea fishing.
This is due to the size, power, and speed of the species, which weigh, on
average, between 200 to 400 lbs and can swim as fast as 70 miles/hour. MiamiMarlin fishing is an adventure available to anyone through The THERAPY-IV
fleet- its boats are even outfitted for wheelchair accessible fishing.
In the past, it required
considerable skill to capture a Marlin, but the top-of-the-line equipment found
on the THERAPY-IV makes fishing them today more plausible, effective, and
comfortable. These features include a large tuna tower for spotting Marlins and
other big game, giant live bait tanks, giant outriggers for spacing the baits
apart and a giant flying bridge with a captain’s chair and two fighting chairs.
Marlins tend to flap wildly after being caught, but the cockpit fishing area is
equipped with a giant transom door for boating the monsters safely.
Located
in Halouver Marina, The THERAPY-IV fleet is just 6 minutes from the gulf
stream, a prime spot for catching Blue and White Marlins as they migrate. We at
The THERAPY-IV have over 40 years experience fishing Miami’s coastline, which
makes us the experts on the art of baiting and catching marlin. Booking a
fishing trip with The THERAPY-IV is easy-reservations can be placed online or
over the phone- and pricing is reasonable- we match any legitimate pricing of
comparable fishing charter boat services.
We set sail 7 days a week, twice daily between 8 am and 5 pm. Contact me, Captain Stan, for further information by calling 305-945-1578.

NBA Eastern Conference is Tough – But Heat Remain On Top According to Analysts
This season, the Miami Heat are going to have to battle one of the strongest fields of competition in recent memory in order to win a third straight NBA title. From the Pacers, Nets and Bulls in the Eastern Conference to the Spurs and Thunder in the West, the targets remain a force to be reckoned with for the second year in a row; but, analysts express a positive outlook for our local team.
An article from the Washington Post provides insight on the upcoming season:
“Including playoffs, the Heat won 78 percent of their games against Eastern Conference opponents last season — the third-best winning percentage any NBA team posted against its own half of the league in the last 16 years. The Heat won 39 of their final 45 matchups with East foes, on the way to capturing the conference title for the third straight year.
“Each and every night, to get up and play at your best, it can be challenging,” said Reggie Miller, the Hall of Fame player who’s now an analyst for TNT. “And with those other teams getting better, it could be a long haul. But, look, as long as you have the best player on the planet, you can never really discount the Heat. And that’s what they have. They always have the ultimate trump card in LeBron James.”
The Heat outscored East clubs by 562 points with James on the floor last season. How dominant is that? Dwyane Wade was No. 2 on that plus-minus list, 192 points behind the league’s four-time MVP. James scored 1,653 points against East teams last season, one point less than New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony managed against the conference’s teams. Anthony took 244 more shots, though.”
Catch the Heat tonight in a game against the Brooklyn Nets at 8 pm on ESPN. If you’re looking for a thrilling day out, consider The THERAPY-IV for your next Miami Deep Sea Fishing trip. Call me, Captain Stan, at 305-945-1578.
