Have you ever been on a cruise? If you aren’t in any hurry, you may want to set aside plans for late 2019. That’s when the massive MSC Seaside is scheduled to arrive at its future home in PortMiami. The Seaside is a huge ship capable of accommodating just over 5,100 passengers and it will be the second MSC ship to call Miami home, joining the MSC Divina which will eventually be replaced by the MSC Meraviglia.
The MSC Seaside will be an unquestionable standout when it arrives at PortMiami. Its exterior design deviates from the cruise shop conventions to create a ship that looks more like a pair of floating condominium towers. The ship also boasts a dual floor atrium comprised entirely of glass with a digital display. Additional features include its quartet of water slides, a bowling alley, and the sea’s longest zip line at a whopping 394 feet, outdoing Royal Caribbean’s 82-foot zip lines to become the new record holder.
Because the Seaside will call Miami home, there will also be several Miami flourishes including a Miami Beach Sundeck and another pool near the back of the ship dubbed the South Beach Pool.
