If the Thanksgiving food and long weekend didn’t fully satisfy, this last week of November is full of events to explore and enjoy in Miami Beach and beyond. Let’s take a look.
We’ll begin with this Wednesday’s Common Threads Chef Takeover at the Mondrian South Beach which brings together the culinary talents of Miami’s finest chefs for a good cause. Funds will be raised to support the nonprofit Common Threads which seeks to provide nutrition and cooking education to the city’s youth. The event is being hosted by news anchor Kristi Krueger and it begins at 7 pm. For more information visit http://www.commonthreads.org/cheftakeover.
In keeping with the food theme, the Jungle Plaza in the Miami Design District will serve as the host of the Food Trucks at the Market #atMDD this Thursday. Enjoy bites from some of the local favorites like Cuban Guys and Da Burger Shack. Jazz band Derek Fairhold Trio will also perform. There is no cost to attend provided you RSVP.
