Next week we will once again be celebrating one of the most important days in American history: Independence Day. If you want to try something a little different from just enjoying food and brilliant fireworks displays, you may want to check out the Miami Beach Fire on the Fourth Festival.
Miami Beach’s 73rd Street and North Beach Bandshell Park will serve as the host of the Fire on the Fourth Festival which begins bright and early at 9 am with a great way to kick off what’s sure to be an exciting day: complimentary beach yoga. The food trucks will be open at 1 am just in time to grab a bite while the Kids Zone will open at noon with lots of activities for the little ones to enjoy including rock climbing, face painting, potato sack racing, and more.
For those wishing to give back, Operation Thank You will be on the premises collecting cards to send out to troops who will certainly appreciate being remembered and recognized for the fearless work they do. Other highlights at the festival include live musical performances, a fun Junkanoo Parade, and of course a dazzling fireworks display beginning at 9 pm to close the day’s festivities.
