For those of you that don’t plan on heading to one of the Miami Beach parties this Memorial Day weekend, there is another event you may wish to consider visiting that doesn’t involve too many raucous crowds. The city’s first arts and cultural festival begins today and continues this weekend.
Dubbed ReFrame, the festival will provide a showcase of various artwork by local artists, with a common thread of discussing and sparking conversation on hot topics like relationships, inclusion, and more.
ReFrame is kicking things off with the “I See You, Too” exhibit which features works by artists like Rodney Jackson and Loni Johnson as they capture the impact of misinformation and propaganda. You can check out the exhibit by heading over to 737 Lincoln Road.
I See You, Too is only the beginning for ReFrame. Festival-goers can also look forward to live dance, open mic performances, and photo installations. Best of all, all ReFrame events are free. See you there!
