The 19th edition of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) isn’t returning until February of next year, but the ever-growing and ever-popular event is bringing some fresh additions for its 2020 incarnation. If you’ve never attended SOBEWFF, next year is as good a time as any. Let’s take a look at some of the new highlights.
Samantha Schnur of The Naughty Ford will serve as the host of the Chef Mashup, a late-night event bringing several of Miami’s best chefs and their most popular dishes together for a celebratory night. The event will kick off at 10 pm on February 20 and continue until midnight at Ace Props Miami.
On Friday, February 21, the Wynwood bakery Zak the Baker will host a Gospel & Falafel late-night event featuring lots of sweet treats. Min. Desmond Jackson & the Sovereign Ministries will provide tunes while you enjoy the delectable bites. Much like Chef Mashup, the event begins at 10 pm and ends at midnight.
Are you a pizza fan? Michael Schwartz is hosting a late-night pizza party appropriately dubbed Sliced: A Genuine Pizza Party. Pizza in just about every form you can think of will be offered at this event being held at Jungle Plaza while the rock band Hails provides the music.
