Boating Trip Leads to Massive Catch

Last week we told you about the group of friends and their 750+ swordfish catch. If that wasn’t impressive enough, some South Florida boaters recently managed to one-up the swordfish catch by snagging one of the sea’s most fearsome predators: the great white shark.

According to WSVN, a pair of boaters began their day by catching a couple of much smaller bonito fish. It was when they used their deep rod submerged over 400 feet into the water that they felt the jaws of a much, much larger sea dweller clamp down. Catching the fish proved to be quite the challenge as it took close to an hour and a half to reel in the formidable great white shark, which ended up weighing more than 1,000 pounds and measured about eighteen feet!

Those concerned about what may have become of the great white shark will likely be happy to know that the fishermen released their colossal catch back into the ocean.

THERAPY-IV, a Miami deep sea fishing boat service, brought this update to you. This charter provides all of its clientele with a high-end deep sea fishing experience. With their luxury yacht, exceptional customer service, and experienced and professional Captain and crew, visitors can rest easy, they will not only have a memorable fishing experience but will also have the pleasure of visiting the best spots off the coast of Miami and Biscayne Bay.
